I was just wondering what a variety of tastes we have here on A Place In Between - so, lets see! Please, tell me what your favourite books are, ladies and gentlemen!
I'll start us off with 'The Last Hero' by Terry Pratchett. I love all the Discworld books, but I particularly like this one. It's a fantastic story, and the illustrations are magnificent too! 'Slaughterhouse 5' by Kurt Vonnegut is one of my favourites, too. Though I'm not sure if it's better or on a par with his 'Cat's Cradle'...

Many many things including Sartre 'Nausea', Kierkegaard 'Sickness Unto Death' and Burroughs 'Junkie'. I also have fond memories of the reaction given by the lovely Helen when I announced Wuthering Heights to be 'a load of sentimental fuck toss'
